The votes are in for the "Coolest things made in Wisconsin." The 300 nominations have been narrowed down to the "sweet 16" to create the Manufacturing Madness Bracket.
The business with the most overall votes heading into the "sweet 16" was Uncle Mike's Bakery for their Sea Salt Caramel Pecan Kringle. Several other Northeast Wisconsin companies made the cute to including; Oshkosh Corporation, Waupaca Foundry, Ariens Company, Mercury Marine. and Bassett Mechanical.
The voting to narrow the list to eight companies will begin Monday, September 18 and run through September 25.
In 2016, Harley Davidson took home the top prize. This years winner will be announced after the final round of voting is complete October 16. The competition is put on by the Johnson Financial Group and Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce.
