Two people are safe after a house fire in Fond du Lac.
It happened just after 2:00 a.m. on Monday on Lincoln street.
The fire department had to rescue a female who was trapped on the second floor.
Another person was able to make it out safely on their own.
Smoke alarms were not working at the time of the fire.
The cause remains under investigation.
