The Two Rivers Police Department says an officer was injured while chasing a suspect on Tuesday.
On Tuesday afternoon, police got information on two people who had warrants. One of those suspect was spotted walking in the downtown area. Police say the suspect ran away when they saw a police officer.
The officer chased after the suspect, who fled into a downtown residence. The officer suffered a leg injury during a chase.
Police set up a perimeter and a 34-year-old woman was taken into custody for a warrant. A search of the residence resulted in the arrest of a 29-year-old man, who was not only arrested for his outstanding warrants, but was charged with resisting an officer and felony bail jumping.
The identities of the two people taken into custody were not released.
