Outagamie County Sheriff’s Deputies say two people have life threatening injuries after a crash. The crash happened Wednesday just after noon at the intersection of County Highway JJ at County Highway J in the Town of Vandenbroek.
Deputies say a vehicle travelling westbound on CTH JJ failed to yield from a stop sign and was hit by a box truck travelling southbound on CTH J. The driver of the box truck, a 30-year-old Schofield man, was not hurt. The driver of the car, a 29-year-old Wrightstown man, and his passenger, a 28-year-old Wrightstown woman, were taken to a local hospital with life threatening injuries.
The intersection was closed for about five hours and should reopen soon.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
