Two people have died after a crash Sunday night in Outagamie County, and charges were referred against another driver for OWI causing death.
David Rosol, 82, and Hazel De Witt, 83, both of La Grange, Illinois, were killed in the crash.
The crash happened before 11 p.m. Sunday night at WIS 54 at CTH M in the Town of Bovina, the sheriff's office said.
Deputies said an SUV driven by a 57-year-old man blew a stop sign at State Highway 54 and hit a vehicle with Rosol and De Witt inside.
Rosol and De Witt were brought to the hospital where they were later pronounced dead.
Officers said the 57-year-old driver of the SUV was cited for operating while intoxicated - causing death.
All lanes were closed as from 11 p.m. to 2:45 a.m. Monday morning. Lanes have since reopened.
