Two people could face charges related to a death investigation in which a man was found dead hidden in a crawlspace.
Sheboygan Police referred a number of charges to the Sheboygan County District Attorney's Office for review.
Last week, police say Matthew Mercure, overdosed while in the company of several people at a home on Michigan Avenue in Sheboygan. Police say other people in the home panicked when Mercure overdosed and concealed his body.
Police say Cooperating citizens called the police department upon learning of the event leading to the discovery of the body. Police found Mercure's body concealed in a crawlspace in the wall.
Sheboygan Police now say they are referring charges for review on a 16-year-old boy and a 29-year-old woman in connection with this investigation. Their names have not been released.
