UPDATE: The Shawano County Sheriff's Office has released names of those involved in the crash. Driver Ireneo Gonzalez and passenger Soila Gonzalez died in the crash. The log truck driver is Andrew Welch.

TOWN OF GRANT —Two people are dead after a crash in Shawano County.
It happened just before 4 p.m. at County Trunk G and Leopolis Road.
A vehicle westbound vehicle was in the intersection when a log truck collided with it.
The Shawano County Sheriff’s Office says a 77-year-old man and a 76-year-old woman from Marion were in the vehicle and died from their injuries.
The log truck driver, a 57-year-old man from Bowler, was not injured.
The crash remains under investigation.
