Hobart-Lawrence Police say two pedestrians are dead after a vehicle crash. This happened on French Road, just south of CTH S in the Town of Lawrence around 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
Police say it appears a two-door Mitsubishi driven by a 46-year-old De Pere man hit two women who were walking on French Road. The vehicle had severe damage.
The women were 44-years-old and 18-years-old and from Lawrence. They were pronounced dead at the scene by the Medical Examiner.
Names are being withheld at this time pending the notification of family members.
Police say it appears alcohol and speed may be contributing factors to the crash.
French road from CTH S to Golden Glow Road, will be closed for reconstruction of the accident.
The crash is under investigation.
