APPLETON, WI -- Several employees were injured Saturday night after an explosion at a Noodles and Company restaurant in Appleton.
Fire crews were called to the Noodles and Company on Calumet Street just after 6:00 p.m.
Police tell us they don't know much but can say the kitchen had a gas explosion. Police, fire crews and WE Energies responded.
"It has been reported that there were two minor injuries, they were transported to the hospital. Their conditions are currently unknown," said Lieutenant William Krieg of the Appleton Police Department.
The Appleton Fire Department is investigation what happened to cause that explosion.
