Two people were treated for non-life threatening injuries after a three vehicle crash involving a liquid propane delivery truck in Marinette County Thursday.

Just before 11 a.m., Marinette County deputies, rescue squads and fire departments responded to the crash on U.S. Hwy 141, about 1/3 mile north of County Highway P.

A southbound auto parts delivery truck had slowed down and was rear-ended by a pickup truck towing a trailer loaded with another truck, investigators said.

After impact, the truck towing the trailer went left of center and hit a liquid propane delivery truck, according to deputies. The propane truck went into the ditch and rolled on its side.

All three drivers were alone and treated at the scene, but two were then brought to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

Because of concerns of volatility of the liquid propane truck, deputies tried to evacuate neighbors from nearby houses. However, no one was home or houses were empty, deputies said.

Drivers will be detoured around the crash site on Hwy 141 until the liquid propane truck is removed from the scene, deputies said.
