Two people were critically hurt when their vehicle crashed into trees Friday morning in Waupaca County.
It happened around 2:30 a.m. near a home on Colrue Road in the town of St. Lawrence.
The Waupaca County Sheriff's Office says when they got on scene, the male driver was lying outside the car on the pavement.
The vehicle was in a ditch on the north side of the road. Deputies say the car collided head-on with several trees.
A woman inside the car had to be extricated out of the vehicle by the Ogdensburg Fire Department.
Both the driver and passenger had critical, but non-life threatening injuries and were air-lifted to ThedaCare Regional Medical Center-Neenah.
The crash is under investigation by the Waupaca County Sheriff's Office.
