Two people were taken to the hospital after a single vehicle rollover crash in Manitowoc early this morning.
It happened around 2:30 in the morning at the intersection of N. 8th Street and Albert Drive.
The Manitowoc Police Department reports a Ford Focus veered left and into a ditch after traveling north on 8th Street. Police believe the vehicle rolled several times before stopping.
The driver, a 26-year-old Manitowoc man, was taken to the hospital for serious but non-life threatening injuries. The passenger, a 31-year-old Manitowoc man, is now in critical condition with life-threatening injuries.
Police do believe that speed and alcohol played a role in this crash.
