Two officers have been placed on paid administrative leave following a fatal officer-involved shooting at the Brown County Jail over the weekend.
Green Bay's Police Chief Andrew Smith says DCI is investigating the shooting and are currently gathering video evidence from the Green Bay Police Department.
"We are taking care of our officers as best we can," Smith said.
The officers on leave will be brought back at a time deemed appropriate. Smith says there were a number of officers involved, but only two in this situation were involved to the level of where they needed to be placed on leave.
Once DCI investigation is completed, the video evidence collected will be released by DCI.
