NEENAH, Wis. - About 600 employees at two Kimberly-Clark facilities, in the Fox Valley, have been informed that the plants will be closing in the near future.
The company's spokesperson says they plan to close their Cold Spring and Nonwovens facilities in Neenah. The Nonwoven facility will shut down within the next 18 months, but no timetable has been set yet for the closure of the Cold Spring location.
Kimberly-Clark's spokesperson says the company's main focus right now, is on their employees.
"Business decisions that impact our employees are among the most difficult ones to make - we don't take such decisions lightly. We remain committed to treating our employees fairly and respectfully," said the Kimberly-Clark spokesperson in a statement.
