Two people have died after their plane crashed in Missouri on the way to Oshkosh.
Bobby Faulkner, 41, and Shannon Faulkner, 41, of Greenwood, Arkansas, took off from Mexico, Missouri Thursday, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol.
It is believed Bobby Faulkner was the pilot.
On Thursday around 11:24 p.m., the Air Force Rescue Coordination Center called the State Highway Patrol headquarters in Jefferson City, Missouri to help with finding a missing aircraft they believed to be in Ralls County, Missouri based on GPS information.
Multiple departments searched the area and found a 2003 Zenith 701 single-engine airplane crashed in a soybean field just before 1 a.m. The plane was found about six miles northwest of Laddonia, Missouri.
It is unknown where aircraft's flight plan originated. The Federal Aviation Administration is conducting a full investigation.
