Donald Trump plans to appear with House Speaker Paul Ryan, Gov. Scott Walker, Sen. Ron Johnson and others at a campaign stop Saturday in southeast Wisconsin.
Ryan announced Thursday that Trump planned to take part in the event at the Walworth County Fairgrounds in Elkhorn.
The event comes the day before the second presidential debate as Trump is placing a renewed emphasis on Wisconsin. He also campaigned in suburban Milwaukee last week.
Clinton has not campaigned in the state since April, but Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders held a rally Wednesday that attracted about 1,200 people.
Johnson is in the middle of a tough re-election battle against Democrat Russ Feingold and Walker is fresh off helping Trump's running mate Mike Pence prepare for his debate earlier this week.
