The Trump campaign has confirmed that President-Elect Donald Trump and Vice President-Elect Mike Pence will make a stop in West Allis as a part of the USA Thank You Tour 2016.

Brown County Republicans say they're excited for the event.

"We're really excited that he's coming back and recognizing how important Wisconsin is in the election and helping him determine his presidency," said Brown County Republican Chair, Marian Krumberger.

Donald Trump is making a series of Thank You Tours across the country, making a special point to come to key states that helped him win.

"I think what you're seeing from him is a unification statement.  He is meeting with Democrats, Republicans and Independents, listening to what they're saying and making a strong statement about unification for the country," said Krumberger.

One of Trump's main strategies throughout his campaign has been avoiding traditional media and speaking directly to the voters and that's something he's continuing to do now.

"It's super big for Wisconsin and it is very important for him in how we won the election," said Krumberger.

Trump's Thank You Tour stop in Wisconsin will take place on Tuesday, December 13 at the Wisconsin State Fair Exposition Center.

Doors open at 4:00 p.m. and the event kicks off at 7:00 p.m.
