Christmas comes early for many military families with the Trees for Troops program.
At Lambeau Field on Monday, trees were loaded up before being delivered to families. Statewide, the program collected 600 Christmas trees from Wisconsin growers.
"It's something small that we do for them. We'd like to do more if we could, but this is something we feel good about doing and hopefully they feel good about receiving,” says Ron Tillmann, the owner of Tillmann Trees.
Around the country and overseas, the program helps deliver roughly 17,000 trees each year.
