OSHKOSH, WI -- Oshkosh police are investigating a crash where a train hit an abandoned vehicle on the tracks.
Officers say it happened just after 2 a.m. at the intersection of Merritt Avenue and Broad Street.
Police say the train was heading northbound when it hit a vehicle that was left empty on the tracks.
Oshkosh Police are still trying to make contact with the registered owner of the vehicle.
No one was injured in the crash.
The vehicle was towed away after the crash.
The train was able to continue on after the impact.
