Velp Avenue and the I-41 interchange in Brown County will begin a 60 day closure Thursday.
The two-month closure is needed for reconstruction of the interchange and construction of roundabouts on Velp Avenue.
Here's what you can expect.
- Full closure of Velp Avenue between Riverview Drive and Melody Lane.
- Full closure of I-41 entrance and exit ramps at Velp Avenue.
- Velp Avenue access to Island Court and businesses will be maintained.
- Memorial Drive businesses can be accessed using the North Frontage and South Frontage Roads.
- Increased traffic expected on Lineville Road and Shawano Avenue interchanges.
