Town of Vandenbroek, WI -- Cleanup is underway across Northeast Wisconsin after severe storms rolled through the area Tuesday.
A barn in the town of Vandenbroek was completely demolished during the storms.
The homeowners said this was a very old building. It was at least 100 years old.
There were no animals inside at the time of its collapse but there were 3 collector cars trapped inside.
When the storm hit, the dad was in the back shed which had its door completely ripped off.
The 11-year-old daughter was inside the house and ran into the basement.
"It sounded like a big explosion. I was really scared. I thought something exploded. I was so speechless. I was scared and it was kind of hard to take at first," said Vanessa Vanhandel, the daughter of the family who lost their barn.
The Vanhandels are shaken up but luckily no one was injured.
The owners said cleanup starts Wednesday. They have had several neighbors, family members and friends who have offered help.
