The Green Bay Police Department is responding to numerous car accidents and stranded motorists, resulting in the city implementing a tow ban.
The tow ban affects the I-43/I-41 beltway located within the city limits.
Green Bay Police say they will continue to respond to all crashes and emergencies in these areas, but any vehicles in a ditch or off the main roadway will be left until the weather improves.
Several snow emergencies declared
The city has already declared a snow emergency from 5 a.m. Saturday until 5 a.m. Monday.
Officers say city road crews are actively plowing the roads and ask drivers to remain patient and be aware of their surroundings.
