Evan Arnold, 17 of Neenah and Cole Stoffel, 13 of Appleton have been named Wisconsin's top two youth volunteers of 2018 by The Prudential Spirit of Community Awards.
The nationwide program honors young people for outstanding acts of volunteerism. Evan and Cole are awarded with $1000, an engraved silver medallion and an all-expense-paid trip in late April to Washington, D.C.
Evan is a senior at Neenah High School. He started a foundation in 2009 where $50,000 worth of baseball equipment to children in need in 38 countries.
Cole is an eighth grader at James Madison Middle School and raised more than $22,000 for pediatric cancer research and scholarships for cancer patients and survivors by running an annual half-marathon.
