The next major project in the Titletown District held its grand opening Tuesday.

The Green Bay Packers, Kohler Company and area leaders are holding a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the completion of Lodge Kohler, an upscale hotel.

The hotel will welcome its first overnight guests Wednesday.

The four diamond hotel has 134 rooms and 10 suites, all with custom-designed Kohler bathrooms.

Guests can take in panoramic views from the Taverne in the Sky restaurant and bar, relax at the Waters Spa, or grab a coffee at the Leaps and Bounds Cafe.

The ribbon cutting ceremony will kick off at 4:30 p.m. with the Tundra Line drumline. The ceremony will be followed by tours and live music.

"There's such a great richness to this area and people come here for a reason, and we really wanted to create a great space that people are going to want to come to and are going to want to feel like it's there's," said Tim Andreas. Director of Architecture and Interior Design for Kohler.

Designers incorporated touches of green and gold throughout the building, as well as iconic Packers photographs.

Lodge Kohler is one of three major projects in the Titletown District: Hinterland Brewery and Restaurant is already open and the new Bellin Health clinic will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony on July 25.
