Three people arrested over drug overdose death

Posted

Sheboygan Police say they have arrested three people in relation to an overdose death.

On Tuesday, police found a unresponsive man in the shelter bathroom at Vollrath Park. Police believe the 32-year-old man had died from accidental drug overdose.

Following an investigation, police arrested three people who were connected to the drugs involved in this case. Police arrested a 38-year-old Sheboygan Falls woman, accused of providing the drugs to the victim.

Police say the woman got the drugs from a 28-year-old Sheboygan County man, who was also arrested. His arrest gave authorities the information they needed to trace the drugs back to Milwaukee.

With the assistance of the Milwaukee Police Department, a 19-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for his alleged role in providing the drugs to the man that had died.  Police also found more drugs and firearms at the suspected drug dealer's home. A Milwaukee woman was also arrested and jailed on felony drug charges.

All three of the people suspected of providing the drugs to the man that died in this incident remain incarcerated in the Sheboygan County Jail and it is expected that they will be formally charged for the man’s death soon.  The investigation and official cause of death remain under investigation.  An autopsy has already been completed and toxicology results are expected to take a couple of weeks to be available.
