The Brown County Sheriff's Department says multiple unrelated investigations took place over the last couple of weeks that lead to the arrests after police determined individuals were going to sexually assault a child under the age of 16.
A 49-year-old man, Ronald V. Tiber of Waxhawk, NC, was arrested for use of a computer to facilitate a child sex crime and child enticement. A 23 year-old man was arrested for use of a computer to facilitate a child sex crime and child enticement. A 37-year-old man was arrested for use of a computer to facilitate a child sex crime, child enticement and trafficking a child.
The investigations continue.
The Brown County Sheriff's Office is asking the public to talk to their children to help identify more victims that may have been assaulted by the men. Anyone with information about the men should contact the Brown County Sheriff's Office Internet Crimes against Children Division at (920) 448-4230.
