Winnebago Co. Sheriffs Office threatened

The Oshkosh Police Department is investigating a series of messages left in men’s restrooms that threaten the Winnebago County Sheriff’s Office.

The messages, written in black marker, were left in the men’s restrooms at the Kwik Trip on Jackson St.; The Original’s Mall of Antiques on S. Washburn St.; and at Mercy Medical Center. The messages were first noticed in October of 2015.

The Winnebago County Sheriff’s Office was notified after the first message appeared in October 2015. The last of these messages was received on February 16, 2016 at Mercy Medical Center.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Oshkosh Police Department at 920-236-5700 and ask to speak with Detective Frey or speak with an officer.
