Therapy dog easing travelers' anxiety at Austin Straubel Airport

Posted
It's no secret that traveling can be stressful, so Green Bay Austin Straubel International Airport is hoping to ease travelers' anxiety by bringing in a therapy dog.

Fritz is a four-year-old German Shepherd. You'll see him comforting people before their plane takes off.

"You can already see as people are walking through the terminal, he puts a smile on their face. It's a good thing," said Airport Operations and Maintenance Manager John Behrendt.

Children who stop to say hello to the therapy dog also receive a Fritz trading card to take home.
