The Gifts for Teens Drive was a HUGE success!

The 1st Annual Green Bay Metro Fire Department and NBC26 Cares Gifts for Teens Drive was a HUGE success thanks to the overwhelming support we received from the community.

With your help, we raised $4,300 in monetary donations!

The Green Bay Metro Fire Department will use this money to purchase gifts for young people ages 12-18 who may not otherwise be able to open presents with their families on Christmas morning.

After the Green Bay Metro Fire Department purchases these additional gifts, it is estimated we will have collected nearly 4 times the amount of gifts as last year!

All of these gifts will be donated to the Salvation Army to help make this year's Christmas one to remember for local teens in need.

On Wednesday, December 14 we announced the winner of the refurbished fire truck pedal car.

The winner is Ashley Kohn! Congratulations Ashley!

NBC26 would like to thank everyone who participated in the event.

Your donations are making a huge difference in our community!

We would also like to thank Shopko, BayCare and the American Cancer Society for their contributions.
