The Green Bay Police Department is warning people about a suspicious rock, found by a city employee today.
Police say, a city employee found a painted rock in the bushes in the 200 block of N. Adams Street. When it was picked up, the employee found a rusty razor blade attached to the rock by a rubber band.
Police warn that if someone had picked up the rock without noticing the razor blade, they could have sustained a cut that would have needed medical attention.
They say because the treasure hunt game"Find a Rock/Hide a Rock" is popular among kids, parents need to pay attention to painted rocks and check them before their children pick them up. If anybody knows who left this rock with the razor blade connected to it or finds another rock under similar circumstances, they're asked ot call the Green Bay Police Department at (920) 448-3208.
