Suspect in Appleton shooting taken into custody in Chicago area

The suspect in an April shooting on North Clark St. in Appleton has been taken into custody, Appleton Police said Wednesday.

The U.S. Marshals Service arrested Terence C. Moore, 29, on Tuesday in the Chicago area. 

Moore was wanted for a shooting on the 1600 block of N. Clark Street on April 30 where shots were fire inside and outside of a home around 4 a.m.

A man was struck by one of the rounds and drove to a Chicago area hospital to seek treatment, Appleton Police said.

Moore was known to have ties both to the Appleton and Chicago areas, and the Chicago division of the U.S. Marshals Service was working with Appleton Police to locate him.

He is facing a number of charges in Chicago as a result of the arrest and will be extradited in the future to face charges in Appleton, police said.
