An 18-year-old Little Chute man was arrested in Oshkosh Monday night after he allegedly led law enforcement on a chase and damaged a State Patrol squad car.

A state trooper found a vehicle driving recklessly in circles in a Shell gas station parking lot off Westowne Avenue around 11 p.m.

According to officers, the man damaged a State Patrol squad car during the chase. From there, he fled on foot.

Officers later tracked the man to the Holiday Inn on Westowne Avenue after he allegedly caused a disturbance there.

The 18-year-old was arrested on suspicion of OWI with a controlled substance, reckless driving, and battery to a police officer.

State Patrol said the battery to a police officer charge is in reference to an incident that happened at the Holiday Inn with an Oshkosh Police officer.

That officer suffered minor injuries in the altercation.
