The Wisconsin DNR says Sturgeon Spawning has begun on the Wolf River. The DNR netting and measuring the Sturgeon to document the population in the Lake Winnebago System. Ryan Koenig says the season draws thousands to watch the spawning, "It's truly a unique experience." The best places to see it are the Sturgeon Trail in New London, Bamboo Bend in Shiocton and at the Shawano Dam.
