Students from UW Fox Valley took their school work to new heights by doing three weather balloon launches across Northeast Wisconsin.
The NASA funded project is part of the tethered aerostat program, an initiative to increase participation in stem- related fields by doing research over landfills in the area.
The weather balloons will help the students monitor the environment by collecting sensor data and photographs.
