Members of the Winnebago County Swat Team visited seventh-graders at Maplewood Middle School to show them how they use robots in their work. Teacher Dirk Kermitz says since his students are building robots themselves he wanted the students to see a real application, "Their robots are like toys, so to actually see robots in real life situations is important," said Kermitz.
