Storms that hit Shawano County Sunday night will leave some cleaning up for a while.
One cabin owner says the damage is the worst he's seen in about 30 years of owning his property.
The view from Larry Kraft’s porch is a little cluttered.
“Not a lot of relaxing last night," Kraft said.
Now he’s picking up the pieces. He says working at cleaning part-time, the process will take him untilwinter.
Roy Eckberg with the national weather service says he doesn't expect to see these types of storms in Wisconsin.
“The temperatures yesterday, combined with the heat and humidity is something you would typically see in the state of Florida," said Eckberg.
The storms broke Kraft’s windshield on his truck, but fortunately, the a spokesman with the Shawano County Sheriff’s Department says they did not get any reports of injuries.
