If you're looking for a delicious way to spend some time this weekend, how about packing up and going strawberry picking in Manitowoc County?
The berries are ripe for the plucking at Greiling Gardens Strawberries in Maribel.
Now in his 80s, owner Neil Greiling is always anxious for the first batch of customers to come by and sample his strawberry crop.
"I'll be very happy because I had a tough year last year, but not this year. It looks good," said Greiling. "Hopefully everybody else will be as pleased as we are to see them out there with their smiling faces."
Greilings Strawberry Farm is located on Pleasant Road in Maribel.
They're open from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. daily.
