Power was knocked out to hundreds and large trees uprooted today after a powerful storm hit the eastern part of the state.
Facebook posts from the City of Kewaunee encouraged residents to photograph damage and stay away from any downed power lines so crews could safety work to fix outages.

So far no injuries have been reported. As of this afternoon most resident's power should be restored.
