Today local Muslim leaders tried to give non-Muslims a better understanding of their faith. At the Kress Family Branch Library in De Pere the Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association shared with dozens of people their take on what Islam is truly about. They also answered questions regarding their beliefs to stomp misconceived notions often associated with their religion.
"Anytime something bad happens we do want to set the record straight that Islam condemns violence and terrorism," says Umair Ahmed of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association.
