The stolen Prius has been located in Oshkosh with no damage, according to an Oshkosh Police Department news release. Investigators are looking into several tips they have received from community members related to this theft.
At this time the suspects are not in custody.

The Oshkosh Police Department is investigating a stolen vehicle from a the eastside of Oshkosh on March 14. Two suspects were video recorded in the Toyota Prius while at an ATM in Oshkosh shortly after the car was stolen. The same suspects were video recorded about one hour later while at the Walmart in Neenah trying to use the victim’s credit cards that were in the vehicle when it was stolen. The vehicle has not been recovered and police are still looking for the suspects.
The victim parked her 2007 Gold Toyota Prius Hybrid, WI Registration # 401XUL in the driveway of her home in Oshkosh at about 10:30 p.m. March 13. She forgot her purse in the vehicle overnight. Sometime before 6:05 a.m. on March 14, the suspects entered the victim’s unlocked car and were able to drive it away with the key they found in the purse.
At 6:07 a.m. the stolen vehicle pulled up to the ATM at the Verve Credit Union on Witzel Avenue in Oshkosh. The suspect driving the car used one of the credit cards in the stolen purse to access the ATM. They were not able to get any money from the ATM.
At 7:15 a.m. the two suspects were video recorded in the Walmart Store in Neenah. They attempted to use the stolen credit card to purchase several items. The credit card had already been canceled and the suspects were not able to complete the purchase.
Suspect No.1 Description: Black man, 20-30 years old wearing a black coat, light colored jeans with holes in knees and a green and white stocking cap with tassel on top.
Suspect No. 2 Description: Black woman, 20-30 years old wearing a red hoodie with black or grey sleeve and multicolored leggings.
