STEVENS POINT, Wis. (AP) -- Police say a man has died about a week after he was shot just blocks from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point campus.
In a statement Saturday, the Stevens Point Police Department says 21-year-old Deonta Lezine of Stevens Point died on Friday night. An autopsy will be conducted next week to determine an official cause and manner of death.
Police say there have been no arrests and the search for a suspect continues.
Police said earlier that Lezine was shot on March 17 after a fight over a suspected drug deal. Lezine was found at the university's Berg Gym with substantial injuries.
