The Wisconsin department of health services is urging people to have a plan for a healthy and safe New Year’s Eve.

The department reminds those of drinking age not to offer alcohol to teens, and not to allow underage drinking at your home.

They also recommend limiting consumption, and avoiding binge drinking.

Of course, plan to have a sober designated driver before going out.

If you do need help finding a ride, Miller Lite is offering a way to help keep you safe.

The company is sponsoring free rides on Green Bay Metro busses.

The rides begin at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday afternoon, and run until 3:00 a.m. Friday.

This is the fourth year the service has been offered in Green Bay.
