The Calumet County Sheriff's Department is issuing a Wisconsin crime alert for 28-year-old Edwin D. Hughes.
Hughes is known to carry weapons and has several active warrants through Calumet, Outagamie, and Dane counties. He has been charged with multiple counts of kidnapping, armed robbery, battery, burglary, and theft.
Hughes was released from prison in July 2015 and was last contacted by his parole agent on August 5, 2016.
His previous address is listed as 1731 Oshkosh Ave, #A, Oshkosh, WI where he was believed to be living with Deanna P. Hargrove.
He is described as being 6'6" and weighing 190 pounds with brown eyes and black hair.
Authorities say an alert is being sent statewide due to his violent past criminal history .
