Drivers likely saw more 'blue' Thursday in Northeast Wisconsin. It was part of the Wis State Patrol's initiative to bring awareness to summer driving safety. 'Blue Day' refers to the increase in State Patrol cruisers out on the highway and interstates enforcing speed and safe driving practices. Troopers say summer is often the deadliest season on the roads, "What we're going to be looking for is seatbelts, high speeds and we're also looking for those people looking down, looking at cell phones, and not looking at the road," said Trooper Andrew Jacobs.
