State lawmakers are set to get back to work in Madison. Tuesday is Inauguration Day which kicks off the new legislative session.
Republicans control both the senate and assembly with their largest majorities in decades.
Here are a few other important dates coming up. Governor Walker delivers his State of the State speech next Tuesday. The legislature will hold its first floor session on January 17th, and the Governor will introduce his executive budget proposal in late February.
