APPLETON -- Stopping telemarketing calls isn't always easy. As technology grows, there are new ways companies are getting around the State's "Do Not Call" List.
Jason Strong with AT&T has the answers about calls you don't want to answer. "Alot of those calls you are getting are from auto dialers" says Strong.
But Strong also says there are ways to take come control over who calls your phone. Control you think you'd get from the Wisconsin's "Do Not Call" list. Many say isn't working like it should, people are getting calls and state regulators say its technology making it harder .
"You've already registered but you are still getting calls that's something they are not supposed to do." Strong adds. He suggests you go to the Federal Do Not Call List. Or even block the calls right on your phone.
"If it's the same number over and over there's phones that you can even block them right on your phone." He says. One way to use your phone's technology against the illegal and annoying calls.
