Starbucks straw recall

Posted

Starbucks is recalling more than 2.8 million stainless-steel beverage straws after reports of children suffering cuts to their mouths while using them.

The straws were packaged and sold nationwide and online in sets of three.

They were also sold as a component of two sizes of stainless-steel beverage cups.

Starbucks has received three reports in the U.S. and one in Canada of mouth lacerations to young children while drinking from the straws.

Consumers should not allow children to handle or use the product.
