25 year old Octavia Lindsey will stand trial on charges connected to the stabbing of a 39 year old man. The crime happened on July 25th in an apartment in the 500 block of North Street in De Pere. The victim reportedly answered an online ad to meet the suspect.
In today's preliminary hearing, an investigator testified Lindsey's statement was different from what the victim told police. Arraignment was set for August 22nd at 8:30 AM. Lindsey remains in jail on a $50,000 bond. She faces 60 years in prison if convicted on an attempted first degree homicide charge.
