A work of art is being created at an Egg Harbor church.
Artist Jeff Olson is sculpting a piece of Door County limestone into a statue of St. John the Baptist. It's outside a church that bears the prophet's name. It should be finished in a week.
Olson plans to carve statues for four other churches within the parish.
