The sun will go dark for a historic solar eclipse to happen in America since 1979.
American Paper Optics, designers of glasses for toys, games, puzzles and magazines developed their own eclipse-ready pair.
The solar shades, made of paper feature designs inspired by patients at St. Jude, can be worn to safely view the eclipse.
John Jerit, CEO at the company, said the shades also serve another purpose: shining a light on the work of St. Jude Children's Hospital.
"Fifty percent of the proceeds are donated to St. Jude and you can use these glasses to go out and watch the eclipse as it's happening," Jerit said.
A 10-pack of the glasses cost $20.
